PAINTING ACTIVITY
We had an event with children. With Turkish and international students from gaziantep University, we visited the Nesrin Mehmet Abar primary school. This is a school where Turkish and syrian students study together. We met the children and asked them about their dreams. After that we asked them about 'Peace'. ' what is the peace?' and 'how should be a peaceful world?'. The answers were amazing. Then we asked the children to draw a peace-themed picture. While they were drawing our friends from different countries like Madagaskar, India,.. told the children about their countries and cultures. After the pictures were completed we had fun with music and dance.We wanted to show these pictures that children made with fun to more People. For this, we exhibited the pictures at the international student festival. We had a chance to show the pictures of peace through the eyes of children to hundreds of People.
